The Marrakesh Air Show is an exhibition and forum for civil, military and corporate representatives of the aerospace industry.

Over the four days of the exhibition, which today has become the world congress of aviation and space industrialists in Africa, it is expected that more than 200 exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries will visit it. The exhibition area will exceed 70 thousand m2.

According to the organizers, the air show in Marrakesh is part of “Morocco’s strategy to develop its own air base and strengthen the aviation sector, in particular industrial investment and technology transfer”.

Organizers add that “aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus or Bombardier see Morocco as a channel to enter the promising African civilian, military and business aviation markets.”

Since its inception in 2008, a large number of African delegations and dignitaries have visited the Marrakesh air show, including chiefs of military staffs from various African states and heads of international and national civil aviation departments.
