The ADIPEC Exhibition is the largest event in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries, which has been held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) since 1984. Its full name is Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference. Its organizers are the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, the Department of Energy, and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. ADIPEC participants can not only present their products, but also get acquainted with new equipment used in the petrochemical and oil and gas industries, as well as establish new business contacts.
The location of the exhibition is not accidentally chosen Abu Dhabi in the UAE. The share of this region in total world oil reserves is about 10%. It is within the countries located on the Persian Gulf that 2/3 of such resources as oil and gas are concentrated. Participants in the exhibition are both companies that produce and process oil or gas, as well as consumers interested in raw materials or finished products, including those from countries where there is no oil at all. In addition, manufacturers of equipment for the petrochemical and oil and gas industries offer their products here. As the organizers note, each time ADIPEC gathers more and more specialists from different countries. In particular, the last exhibition was attended by participants from some African countries, where no events are held at all in this industry.
